Fourteen members of the transnational cybercrime organization, QQAAZZ, were charged by a federal grand jury in the Western District of Pennsylvania. Law enforcement agencies across Europe collaborated with the United States to develop parallel investigations and prosecutions of the QQAAZZ members in the United States, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Spain. Speakers include: Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian C. Rabbitt of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Special Agent in Charge Michael A. Christman of FBI Pittsburgh and Head of Europol’s European Cybercrime Center Edvardas Sileris.
